Thanks! When I was a kid, I was fascinated by the minutiae of nature, but never had a way to convey that fascination to others. People just thought I was odd, sitting on the ground observing an ant nest, or putting bugs in jars.

Well...

I seems like anywhere you go outside there's something cool if you just look for it. The vast majority of the pictures from Seminole County are from an open area by a retention pond behind my neighborhood, and not in any park.

I would recommend the following places from personal experience:
-Seminole County Environmental Studies Area, off 419 in Winter Springs.
-Lower Wekiva River Reserve, on hwy 46, a few miles west of I-4.
-Wekiva Springs State Park. Huge park with a variety of habitats.
-Blue Springs State Park in Volusia, especially for underwater photography.
